pmw508
Hi,I have a fat WinForm-app made in vs2003 and have used Com+ to handle db-access and transactions. The app is deployed as an msi and installed on my clients pc's. The installer installs the com+ projects on each of the pc's.This worked fine until I moved the solution to vs2008 and framework 3.0.Now I get all sorts of Exceptions telling me that MSDTC is denying access, and as far as we know (and can see) nothing has been modified regarding authorizationConfig on eather clients and SQL-server.Is there anyone who knows if there are some generall issues regarding the use of com+ with vs2008 and frw 3.0Best regards//pmw
pmw508
Hi all,If there is anyone thats interested, the problem was in the MSDTC Security Configuration on the Client side. Of some reason the "Transaction Manager Communication"-checkbox Allow Inbound was unchecked.Sorry if I was wasting anybodys time!all the best//pmw
