Not sure which drive to slipstream

I have a gigabyte mobo and i want to slipstream the sata/ raid drivers unto the disk the problem is there are two different drivers one for the application you would install after and one for a bootdisk. they are both 32 bit versions but one lists it as a hdc type and the other as a scsi adapter. the hdc is what my other intel driver is listed as but it would make more sense to me that the bootdisk driver would be the more correct one but at the same time im unsure and confused. in a previous install i threw both on there but one wasnt used and just gave errors so i deleted it. im just curious what the difference is and which i should use. thanks.
