I have a tendency to remain logged out of any account unless I have a requirement which can only be fulfilled by logging in. Therefore I was wondering if the following is permanent or temporary:

Due to security reasons some of the features are disabled such as view forum as guest.

That's quite a major change, will it affect all non-members following links from associated off-site pages of on-site forums and off-site projects, current search engines results etc.
