Unattended Install WinXP Pro SP2

Hi to all. I have recently downloaded the program and am trying to create an unattended install of Win XP Pro SP2. I'm not sure if I am missing something here, perhaps someone can steer me in the right direction.

I have had a look at the step by step guide which is straightforward but not indepth. I am not sure about the SP2 situation, as the CD naturally containe the SP2 already integrated - is it necessary to have to re-intergrate this feature?

I have created 4 discs thus far and each arrive at a screen requesting that a CD be place into Drive A: that contains Win XP Pro Service Pack 2 installation. I have tried creating without the integration of SP2 and then intergrating SP2 ( of which I still believe that it should not be required as it is already on the disk). Has anyone else experienced this before. Can any one guide me on the correct process in case I am missing the bleeding obvious here.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Kelsenellenelvian!

I can see the Win51IP.SP2 which is a 1kb sized file. (And the others you have mentioned are also there!)

Are these files supposed to be added into the compilation manually in this case. Where should they be placed should I attempt this manually (if possible).

Would restarting from scratch possibly override this error/problem? Is this whole process necessary when SP2 is already on the CD?

How do I fix this. Thanks again.

Noddy21, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. You do not need to integrate SP2, only SP3 if you want. You don't need to add anything manually, just copy ALL files/folders, including the win51** to your working folder before running nLite. Yes, restart from scratch. If you continue to have problems, please post a Windows Explorer screen shot of you working folder. Enjoy, John.
