Im taking a web development class right now and we have to do some svn stuff. The teacher recommends tortoiseSVN, im just wondering if there is a better free alternative people like using. I checked the free software thread, but it doesn't have a section on this it appears.

tortoise is good stuff and the prettiest of the lot. I also use SlikSvn - it only offers command line support, but for build scripts its reliable and quick (at least it has been so far).
