nLite Installation Problem

Hi,

I have just downloaded and installed nLite 1.4.9.1. Everything seemed to go well until I tried to run the program. After a few seconds wait I get the following error box.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and downloading both the installer and zip versions a couple of times each. I have been unable to find anyone else with this problem so I guess it must be something to do with my setup.

Any help would be much appreciated

Need some info:

OS version and SP level of running system?

Was the installed system nlited?

So you got NO interface, just the error?

Hi,

OS Version and SP: XP Pro SP3

Running on a Dell Dimension 8400 desktop with 4Gb RAM and 3.4 GHz Pentium 4.

The system was installed originally from a Dell SP1a disk and subsequently upped to SP3 via Windows automatic updates.

Nothing whatsoever after the install except the error.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled .net?

If not try that and run ccleaner a couple of times in between and after because .net is so messy.

Had a job persuading Windows to let me uninstall .net, but got there eventually!!

Everything now seems to be working as it should be. It's all so simple when you know what you are doing (which I don't)!
