AGlobalThreatsK, here is a Registry change for disabling the messages:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system]
"DisableStatusMessages"=dword:00000001

I have tested this on my VM, but be careful, take a backup of the key. If you decide you don't like it, just delete the DisableStatusMessages value. You are on your own! Enjoy, John.
