Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005

Hey all - I'm looking to make my own nLite install with all my graphics drivers, SP3, motherboard drivers, utilities and additional programs. Most importantly, I want to use Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005 on my machine... and I'd also like to play some games. With that said, I want to shed all extra weight from my application.

I know for a fact I'll need IIS for web development. I just don't know what else I'll need?

Are there any .NET developers out there that have a slim version of XP that works with VS2K8/SS2K5?
