January 12, 200917 yr It seems that at least for now this feature is not working... Anyone knows a workaround? I've tried adding the machine on the server again with no luck. The error that comes up is "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted". And yes, I am an administrator on the domain, so no privilege issues... January 12, 200917 yr Author Just to mention that the issue has been solved... secpol.msc ---> Microsoft network client: Send unencrypted password to connect to third-party SMB servers set to enabled and voila
January 16, 200917 yr Ugh! Neanderthal Technology 4.0! Haven't touched that in years. Does Micro$oft still allow updates to it via Windows Updates?

February 12, 201016 yr NitropuppyI have a similar situation to you as far as Windows 7 and an NT 4 domain. Can you reprise the steps you took to get it working as I'm not sure if I have the full trail. I assume you have not had any problems since.Arlesterc

(it should be disabled by default) Edited February 12, 201016 yr by MrJinje
