reguapo Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I have an installation of Windows XP SP3 unattended, When I try to change the administrator password in the unattended section, so good, I conclude the process and I create the image, but when i try on a virtual machine, the installation ask for the windows serial, i put the same serial that was in the unattended section and the installation continues without problem, how can i do to avoid that windows ask me for the serial?
johnhc Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 reguapo, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Enjoy, John.

Enjoy, John.john thanks for your reply, i have a windows installation with services pack integrated already, and unattended data too, its my clean installation, i dont have other, so how can i solve my problem?
johnhc Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 reguapo, after running nLite, look in your source folder and attach the Last Session.ini to your next reply. We have no idea what your problem is until we see your Last Session.ini. Thanks, John.
yestereven Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Hi, i think i got the same problem using vmware as a virtual machine. I decide to use Virtual PC 2007 from microsoft, because it's now freeware and it run like a charM.Still some problem with my pro install but the serial problem is solved. Hope it help.....
