2 Ethernet - 1 internet, 1 LAN, Windows tries to use LAN for internet

Ok, I have two ethernet ports on my computer. One is connected to the internet (have tried both directly and through a router). The second (Ethernet 2) has no internet, just LAN connection. I can only access the internet if I disable or unplug my LAN ethernet connection. As soon as it is plugged in, Windows uses that, and that exclusively for internet instead, and as I have no internet connection on that network it doesn't work. Windows is identifying it as Local Only, which makes it even more annoying that it tried to use that for internet. How can I force Windows to only use the internet ethernet port for IP's outside the 192.168.x.x range? Thank you in advance.

Edit - It's also trying DNS through the LAN. It might even work if I just get it to lookup DNS on the internet port.

Do you even have another network beyond the 192.168.0X subnet? If not why do you have a gateway listed on that interface?

Try removing that and see if it helps.

Thanks

Ethernet adapter Ethernet 2:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Description . . . . . . . . . . . : NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet #2

Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-1B-FC-D8-B9-A6

DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No

Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.50(Preferred)

Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled

Now running without a gateway (manual rather than DHCP configured, there is still a DHCP server on the LAN). Same problem, if it's connected than Windows tries to do DNS off of it which doesn't work.
