I've packed all my drivers and custom files into a cab which i "install". this works perfectly for every driver (raid/ahci, lan, audio, etc.) but not with nvidia display drivers. With SP3 Microsoft supplies nv4_disp.dll and nv4_mini.sys in the sp3.cab, if you place files with the same name in your I386 directory or somewhere else without overwriting/replacing the original one, windows setup will use the old microsoft supplied one.

I already managed it that setup uses my nv4_mini.sys instead of the microsoft supplied one (giving my cab precedence over every other) but now i need to know how i can tell windows to use the supplied nv4_disp.cat for the nv4_mini.sys instead of the hardcoded signature. possible without hacking any dll file?
