Integrating hotfixes into Vista SP1 DVD ISO

Featured Replies

I downloaded the Windows Updates Downloader and the latest update lists here (http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/download.ashx?type=ul&id=32). How can I integrate these updates into a SP1 preinstalled Vista DVD?

I tried using vLite but there is some packages that cannot be integrated into (e.g. Windows6.0-KB952069-x86.msu). Later, I tried to integrate this hotfix alone and it seems to work. So what is the problem? Can I just simply integrate it into my Vista SP1 using vLite? It seems a bit odd because it shouldn't be so simple!

Also, should I start to remove components and add my tweaks before or after all hotfixes are integrated? Should I remove components of windows? I have heard from some source that we should not remove anything because it will cause unstable installation and errors.

Thanks for your help.
