Guest Mortov Molotov
Hi everyone,in a long, though inconclusive search both on this forum and elsewhere on the net (google), I cannot see which of both methods to integrate Sp1 into vista, is best.I mean, using VLite is simple, but sometimes it seems a little bit too simple for me, given the fact that for a long time, service pack integration in Vista was called "very complex". In other words: does VLite use a 100% clean method without trouble afterwards? (and yes: i will temporarly disable mij Nod32 AV )I was also wondering: say I use VLite, is a process similar to Vsp1cln.exe actually performed after the integration? So that I don't end up with old RTM files after I use the new 'slipstreamed' DVD to install Vista on my pc? MagicAndre1981
the Reverse integration method is the MS way. They do it in an automation process to build the WIM for their DVDs. vLite does some hacks to allow the offline integration of the SP1
