mikep56 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Hi All,I have a question about slipstreaming SP3 into Windows XP Pro.I have successfully slipstreamed SP2 into XP Pro.However, do I understand it correctly that SP3 cannot be slipstreamed into a clean WinXP Pro source? Does SP3 need to be slipstreamed into XP Pro source files that already have a lower service pack slipstreamed? That seems to be what the page on Microsoft's web site is saying; http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389.This is different from slipstreming SP2, or am I just being thick?Regards,Mike
johnhc Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 mikep56, you did not need to open another topic. As I said before integrate only ONE SP. You should start with a fresh copy of your original CD files/folders and do all your work in one nLite session. Applying multiple SPs is for running systems only. Enjoy, John.
