jhelix
first off, i apologize if my question has been answered. it probably has been, but i haven't found the answer i was looking for by searching for it. i deal with large volumes of dells at work. we'd love the ability to have a dell oem sp3 & hotfixes disk. upon using nlite to create this disk i am faced with this problem: windows does not seem to autoactivate. can someone advise me as to what i should to to make this work properly? thanks in advance. tkmadison
If you are looking to slipstream an existing Dell CD then you might be in for trouble. Dell XP cds are typically not equal to a regular xp cd. Your best bet is to cultivate the OEMBIOS files from a one of your computers, get your hands on a plain as vanilla hologram oem version of windows, and drop those oembios files into the I386 directory.search the forums here. there's a thread dedicated to this.
