phaeton Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I have a sysprep image created on an older laptop that I use as a build machine. When this image is loaded on a newer machine, setup hangs about 30 seconds into mini-setup.This image is just a stripped down XP SP3 image that I just want to get around the problem. I've attached the seutpapi.log file but i'm not sure how to properly read the error. Can someone have a look at it and maybe give me an idea as to what the problem is?Thanks Everyone!Setuplog.zip
cluberti Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 What happens if you completely disable USB on the new machines, then run setup? I see lots of errors pop up in the setup log when hardware detect is looking for USB device drivers to install, specifically that files it is looking for to copy from source cannot be found.

Ponch Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Is one computer AMD and the other one Intel based ? ( I'm not knowledgeable enough to know wether your info confirm that or not but I know it wouldn't work)
