Windows XP and 2000 Problem. Guys please help !

I have installed XP Pro and 2000 on my P3 several times already, but everytime I do and run Norton Windoctor there are missing or bad active x/com entries. The cds are fine, as I have installed it on different boxes before. The cdrom is fine, I have swapped it out entirely with another and get the same results. The hard drive has no bad sectors. I am clueless. Would NTFS cause this? I dont think so, but I have no other ideas right now. Anyone know what I might can try or what might be causing this? I need to fix this because this pc will be my server. Thanks in advance!

that happens on all computers, every computer has invalid registry entries... and norton windoctor sometimes diagnoses the wrong thing so i wouldnt completely recommend it .. actually there was a thread in here and ppl were telling horror stories about the norton utilities package..

Sorry Blackwar, but Norton isnt the cause. I have proved this already, as it was my first suspect. And I have installed both xp and 2000 on this pc in question before with no errors whatsoever. I have been through everything so far except swapping th drive itself. But thats in the works in a few minutes. Thanks anyway bro!
