pogle2 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 i have windows xp homme edition, when purchased the pc had windows xp already installed ( Dell) A short time ago the pc had to be cleared of everything, as a virus had hit it. i used the instalation disc provided by dell, but it appears the relative drivers req to play dvd have not been made available, how can i go about getting this back.
Ponch Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Install VLC or MediaPlayerClassic, I think they both come with codecs to read DVD movies. Also MPC is "portable" (means it doesn't need any installation, just copy the files and run it) and VLC has a portable version a well.
