We are please to announce that we have fixed several bugs; see partial list below.· 9x Setup: With latest IE security patch installed, setup halts installing Q828750 with error: "This update requires Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 to be installed"· Setup: The installation process tries to connect to the internet during install· Disabled system restore causes problems with WMP 9 setup· Clicking the "Proceed To Install" button is closing the IE when Adbegone popup blocker is enabled.· 98SE SETUP: Log files do not list files installed for Q823559· Customers confused by run/open dialog· User Experience : Progress Indicator needs to be more visibleBefore we break for the Holidays we would like to offer you another release of the Windows Security Update CD. We have posted an RC2 ISO image to www.beta.microsoft.com <http://www.beta.microsoft.com>. However; this build will be available for download only. We will not be mailing out a CD. Directions for burning a CD from an ISO image can be found at www.beta.microsoft.com <http://www.beta.microsoft.com>. If you do not have the means to burn a CD we are unable to offer you another build at this time.*When submitting a bug be sure to select RC2 on the bug form.We ask that if you have time over the holiday that you download and test this RC 2 release.
