starcraftmaster Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 hey i got a Vortex AU8810but when i install it, it makes problomslike games get the bsod when trying to startand the hibernate thing is taken away from the shut down thingbut when i unstall the driver all is good againthe drivers are for win 98but i cant find any windows me driversi do have a yamaha xg ymf724f - v and it works greatbut it dont support hard ware bluffing accounding to directx9is the yamaha xg ymf724f - v just as good as the Vortex AU8810i also got the avance logic ALS4000 and a AUDIO EXCEL CHI8338/PCIHRTF 3DX Audiobut am not sure if there better then the yamaha xg ymf724f - v and i havent tryed them so idont know if there good or not or work Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
weEvil Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 For driver compatibility in 90% of cases:Windows 98, 98SE = Windows MEWindows XP = Windows 2003 = Windows 2000Windows Vista = Windows 2008If it doesn't work then you can change the OS identifier string in the *.inf file that comes with the driver.
