Vortex AU8810

hey i got a Vortex AU8810

but when i install it, it makes probloms

like games get the bsod when trying to start

and the hibernate thing is taken away from the shut down thing

but when i unstall the driver all is good again

the drivers are for win 98

but i cant find any windows me drivers

i do have a yamaha xg ymf724f - v and it works great

but it dont support hard ware bluffing accounding to directx9

is the yamaha xg ymf724f - v just as good as the Vortex AU8810

i also got the avance logic ALS4000 and a AUDIO EXCEL CHI8338/PCI

HRTF 3DX Audio

but am not sure if there better then the yamaha xg ymf724f - v and i havent tryed them so idont know if there good or not or work

For driver compatibility in 90% of cases:

Windows 98, 98SE = Windows ME

Windows XP = Windows 2003 = Windows 2000

Windows Vista = Windows 2008

If it doesn't work then you can change the OS identifier string in the *.inf file that comes with the driver.

The best one is the one that works well. Drivers and hardware.

What's the point of a good piece of hardware if the drivers are buggy?
