Stevebooth
Hi Guys, I'm trying to perform a windows repair on an XP oem install. After a while the repair requests "NVIDIA network bus installation disk" . Now if i skip this the repair will fail and restart. Anyway basically it wants the ethernet driver (nvenetfd.dll). So i've downloaded the drivers for the mainboard including the ethernet and burned it to a disk. I can pint it to the correct DLL on the disk and it seems to install it ok, but then the repair still fails and restarts.Any ideas how i can get around this without a complete format?Cheers guysSteveP.s the motherboard in question is an ASROCK Alive NF7G-HD720p
Stevebooth
OK I've found that deleting the OEM.Inf files that point to the Nvidia Dll's has stopped the request for the ethernet driver. But the repair is continuing to restart. Any ideas? The PC originally failed after the post with a system32 error?
