testervp Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I have MSDN Vista SP1 ISO, and i used to have Vista Ultimate full, it takes alot space so i decided to vLite it. But then after Windows Update installed DreamScape successfully it doesn't shows up on the Desktop Background even i have Aero mode turned on and the Desktop Windows Session Service.I wonder what i else missed? Anyone know the required component i might accidentally removed?

Kelsenellenelvian Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Windows Ultimate ExtrasIt is part of this so I can only surmise that doing this removed the supprt for dreamscene.
testervp Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 (edited) Thanks! I noticed that while building another vLite Vista Ultimate at the moment. But is only 1.70MB how much compability its gonna give i wonder, at first i just thought those are the Links showing on the Start Menu lead to the Extra download that's all, but i'm going to try now and see if everything works perfectly.I'll post result in an hour or 2. Abit more to adjust then will start compiling. And will have to look around see if i know something can remove on WinSxS folder. Edited November 15, 2008 by testervp
testervp Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 Laptop BIOS died, so i guess test failed and i lost a 1 year old nice laptop. The laptop mobo has serious design flaws.
