Help me understand Windows XP memory management

I also ran this on my main machine with 2GB of ram where I loaded a handful of application together with Windows and Linux running in VirtualBox both set to use 512MB ram.

Here are the numbers in MB

Available Bytes	47,6640625
Cache Bytes	166,828125
Pool Nonpaged	21,16015625
Working Set	409,2929688
sum	644,9453125
2048-sum	1403,054688

So what does this number tell since since it is so much bigger than the one measured on the server?
