nwembly
I just bought a new Sony Vio Laptop (Model: VGN-CS110E). Of course it came with CRAPY Vista, so I installed Win XP PRO on it. All is well except 3 devices in the device manager aremissing drivers. One is the (Broadcom) Bluetooth, one is the (Conexant) modem, and I think the other is the volume, and media buttons directly on the laptop itself. It is hard to directly decifer device manager sometimes (as you all may know).Where do I get drivers for this laptop ? I have tried looking all over for these, it is driving me nuts. Thanks, nwembly
Ponch
You could run SIV to get the exact info on the devices then seach the maker's site. The program's layout is a bit Haloween but the info it provides is ok.
nwembly
Also I wanted to add that Sony's website only offers downloads for Windows Vista. So I keep running into the issue where the manufacture will urge me to go to Sony's website to get the driver. That's nice and all for Vista, but it makes the "real computer people" with XP, SOL ?
