How can I find users?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions towards any tools that would enable me to search for a user and find which OU they're in. I don't want any scripts, I'm looking for an actual AD Tool that can do this and more.

In active directory under the view menu i think, you should see "advanced". Enable this and when you search for a user and view the properties your will see an "object" tab.

In there it tells you the OU where the user resides.

Wow. I should've known that was there. I was so bent on a single application to use.

Heh, this would've saved me about two hours worth of work had I known. :P

Oh well, there's a first time for everything.
