bbbngowc Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions towards any tools that would enable me to search for a user and find which OU they're in. I don't want any scripts, I'm looking for an actual AD Tool that can do this and more.
gamehead200 Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I believe Hyena can do this, but it's not freeware.http://www.systemtools.com/hyena/
eyeball Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 In active directory under the view menu i think, you should see "advanced". Enable this and when you search for a user and view the properties your will see an "object" tab. In there it tells you the OU where the user resides.
