dvd i found wont work

hey i found a dvd player that reads dvd and writes and reads cd r

on the top of it says in blue writing servo spindle failure

when i start the computer the loading a cd or dvd light goes on and goes on and never stops and it wont read any thing lol

now i havent go much money so i would like this to work

i tryed cleaning the lens inside but didit work

I can only assume "found" means that it was thrown out...

In this case the writing "servo spindle failure", would indicate a hardware failure with the device.

Unless you know electronic repair... you are better off buying one. (18.99 @ the egg...)
