Tlee Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I have been trying to integrate SP3 & IE7 with my XP Pro. This last time, I used HFSLIP to slipstream WMP11. I used nLite 1.4.9.1 to slipstream SP3 & IE7 & all the patches. I then used nLite to burn the CD. The latest error message I get is just after the format is done. This is the message: The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing: Value 0 on the line in section [WinntDirectories] with key "999". This is getting very frustrating. Being able to make a custom CD cuts down on a TON of my time but I can NOT get this to work correctly. Anyone have any ideas?
johnhc Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Tlee,There is not enough information to guess what your problem might be.What source are you starting with? What OS are you running nLite under? I have never heard of HFSLIP. Why are you not using nLite to direct integrate WMP11 with WMP11 Slipstreamer? Do you nLite your source more than once? You should always start with a fresh copy of the source CD files/folders.Please attach (not post) your LastSession.ini.Perhaps spending some time looking at posts in this forum (if you have not) will aid understanding what others are doing and experiencing.Enjoy, John.
