gumbich Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 after running nlite and removing some components it appears some files are missing from my win xp directory...maybe i have done someting wrong, not sure why... my question is will i be able to boot and run a setup this way or not and is there a way to fix this?thanks a lot

gumbich Posted October 27, 2008 Author Posted October 27, 2008 good thing it will still work that way...anyway, i wanted to strip down my xp as hard as i could (with my limited knowledge) so that my xp runs faster not that i really have a slow machine but i want to get rid of all possible crap from windows that i will never need...is there any good tutorial where one can found out what components can be safely removed without causing any problems?i mean some stuff is obvious but others isnt so...
