Problem with saving dwg in win xp

Hi there. My problem is that when i want to save dwg in AutoCAD it takes like 20 minutes for a file that is few megabytes. And when i crash aplication with task manager file is saved properly. I DON'T want to crash aplication each time. TNX

You most likely have a process that is interfering or a problem w/AutoCAD. Try eliminating every possible app running at the same time (mail, AV, unnecessary services, etc) for a short time and see if there is a difference. If you can run this in Safe Mode w/Networking to test for any differences, that would be the easiest.

What version of AutoCAD anyways? Older versions of it (the ones I knew how to use seemingly) don't work quite right on newer versions of Windows...

In fact, AutoCAD 12 is one of the very, very few DOS apps I kind of miss :(
