I was thinking about the toolbar of IE 6.

'Where are the settings for the toolbars and the buttons stored?'

Ofcourse in the registry. So I searched on Google, I only found tools to add buttons.

But that's not what I want. I want to only have certain buttons shown.

What I did (on 2K, but I want this for XP) is locate the registry key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer]

I compared the registry settings before and after adding a button.

This 'name' has been added: 'AddButtons' as a DWORD.
