sfc /scannow

I am having a sound issue and reinstalling the drivers didn't fix it

So, I tried the sfc /scannow thing and I would like to know exactly *what* files it is trying to restore, like in the good ol' 98SE days, ie. Since I installed XPSP3, is it trying to restore the SP1 files from the disc or what?

Isn't there a way to make it restore files from the SP3 backup files to fix the corrupted ones?

All files in dllcache are restored.

right... but are they SP1 (from disc) files, or SP3?
