What I've removed from the cd that I've got (XP Pro. SP3 + IE7 + WMP11 + Framework 2.0SP1, 3.0SP1, 3.5 & alot of drivers to SATA/RAID included)

Is this:

Applications = Games, Internet games, Pinball

Drivers = Cameras and camcorders, Logitech wingMan, Microsoft sideWinder, Modems, Scanners, Tape drives

Hardware support = Iomega Zip drive

Multimedia = Intel indeo codecs, Movie maker, Music samples, Old cdplayer and sound recorder, Speech support

Network = MSN explorer, Windows Messenger

Operating System Options = Security Center, Tour

Services = Error reporting, Fax service, Messenger, Uninterruptible power supply

Unattended tab:

In Owner and network ID = I added "MSHOME" as workgroup

Regional = Added Timezone

Automatic updates = Disabled

Tweaks:

Boot and shut down = Do not parse autoexec. bat, Setup prefetch-cache to "Application launch prefetching enabled"

Desktop = Show Internet explorer, My computer and recycle bin icon

Internet explorer = Disable download complete notification

Privacy = Remove Alexa

Start menu = disable highlight newly installed programs, dont display printers and faxes, reduce popup delay, remove help and support, remove windows catalog and update shortcut

Task bar = Disable language-bar

I've got No problems with these settings.

I was using nLite 1.4.5 and went from 646,61mb to 546,27mb = reduced by 100,34mb

This is my standard changes, you can make it even smaller if you want to remove more things.

I'll try to add vista theme, vista sound replacement and a new desktop as soon I know how to do it.

The vista sound is simply but the other im working on it...

more to come....
