dos HEX to DEC?

What is the easiest way to read a registry value with the REG.exe command that is in hex and convert it to dec ?

You could try this

SETLOCAL ENABLEEXTENSIONS
SET KEY=HKLM\Software\Microsoft\DrWatson
SET VALUE=Instructions
FOR /F "SKIP=3 TOKENS=3" %%F IN ('REG QUERY "%KEY%" /V "%VALUE%"') DO @(
  SET /A DEC=%%F + 0
  SET HEX=%%F
)

ECHO %DEC% %HEX%

On my computer the output is

10 0xa

Start > Run > calc > view > scientific.
