hydroplant Posted September 30, 2008 Share Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) HI all i just notes that i have too different versions of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable in my add remove programs is this a OK thing?. also i notes that after i installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable. i installed this one as you never know when you run into programs that use this stuff. but the other too not sure were i got them. is it OK to have all three of these on my computer?. also wanted to know if these redistributable packages update via Microsoft update. As i have never seen a update for them although i see a category for visual studio now in there not sure if that is for these or not. thank for the time and help on this matter. Nexus_06 Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 You might want to remove the older VC2005 redistributable.I doubt it will cause any problems though, just take up disk space.VC2005 and VC2008 are different (mfc80/atl80 and mfc90 respectively).
