leather Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 After some too tenaciously vLite'ing my otherwise perfect Vista64 installation is missing perfmon.exe, or Performance and Reliability Tool as it is called.I am not too keen on reinstalling or doing a repair install, and is wondering if there is any other way to manually reinstall the above?I have the latest files extracted from SP1 that belongs to perfmon, but probably I need a bunch of reg entries as well to make it work. If I extract the package from SP1 I also get a .manifest file which seems to contain the needed registry entries. Is it possible to convert this manifest to a .reg file in some way, and if so, will it help at all in making perfmon available? The package and files I have located:amd64_microsoft-windows-performancetoolsgui_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_f82859af59516146 pdhui.dll perfmon.exe perfmon.msc sysmon.ocx wdc.dll wvc.dllamd64_microsoft-windows-performancetoolsgui_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.18000_none_f82859af59516146.manifest
