cdob
isnt this update only for vista, or can i download it for xp?I've no idea.Anyway I would neither use XP nor Vista for a BIOS update.Don't you have a DVD or CD drive? What about the CD-ROM solution?
TheReasonIFail
I've updated the BIOS to the majority of my company's PC's from within Windows without a single problem. So I would think doing it from within Windows would not cause any major problems.I guess it just comes down to what you feel more comfortable doing.
