I run jboss on my vista 64 bit and I can see my appserver when I access it using localhost or 127.0.0.1. Unfortunatelly when I use my ip I get "canntoct connect" I am directly connected to internet, no router. I know how to check my ip and I use correct one. I even used site that checks what my ip is. My firewall was disebled for the time I checked. Also I checked port using special site and this port was closed What can be the reason?

Some information on things I checked. When I choose display my Network and Shering Centre my computer is "connected" to "my local network" and then to Internet. Others is not worth mentioning was so stupid.

Sounds like your ISP is blocking ports. Try running it on a different port (i.e. not 80), and see if you can connect to it then.

I used 8080, tater 80 and later 30000. Whatever port I use it is the same. My internet provider should not block.
