Hey guys not sure if anyone else is running MAK's however I work at a company where MS has given us a 1000 pc MAK key, however machines are often re-imaged and it seems to take another MAK when re-imaged so the count on my MSmvls site keeps going up.

Anyone have a similar setup advice ?? Any help is appreciated.

You will have to contact Microsoft and request more MAK keys. MAK keys can be activated once, and only once, and then they are gone. If you rebuild the same box with the exact same MAK key and activate, it will use another MAK activation. This is actually documented in the VA 2.0 Technical Guidance papers, here.

I would not worry about the MAK's. I asked our Microsoft rep about it and he told us that the number of MAK's can easily be added on to. I was associating them with the number of licenses but if you need more just ask for them and they should be provided. They do not count against any license count or anything.
