"incorrect function" right after saving CD installation file

I wonder if this is okay? I first inserted the Windows XP Pro SP2 CD into the E:\ drive. Then after locating it as E:\, it had asked me to where to save the CD installation files for modification. So I pick a folder, however right before the process is completed, I get an "incorrect function" error. And that's about it. I think I can still go forward, but I am not sure, and wanted to double check if this was just some harmless bug? Thanks!
