Viper187 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 (edited) I don't want that damned install cache on my storage drives. If it would be reasonable and install to the C drive instead of randomly picking a letter, I might keep it around. In any case, I don't like random files being thrown on my storage drives without my goddamn permission. There's also the matter of it not fully deleting when you tell it to at the end. The folder is still there. POS Edited August 16, 2008 by Viper187
mara- Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Of course there is a way. There is a setting file in folder FILES\SETUP you your Office. Name of file is Setup.ini. Find line with LOCALCACHEDRIVE and just uncomment it. Remove the character ; in front of the line.Cheers
