DVB-T on Windows 9x

Featured Replies

so, i recently bought tv tuner card Pinnacle 300i which contains wdm driver able to work with Windows98SE. card is properly installed and the driver is working correctly.

Analog section:

i use program called ATV2000 by mike crash. this simple software offers all what any TV freak could use. here is the link:

www.mikecrash.com

captured image is very clear, for good work of this software it is needed to manual install some filters.

Digital section:

there is ATV3 on mike's page. it works not so much...still early beta. i also tried ProgDVB - it is very buggy and needs kernel ex. DVB Dream - able to scan, but it crashes when sound or video has to be displayed...

with progdvb i was able to tune digital radio without trouble, but digi TV has no image... any tips? i think that progdvb is unable to start activemovie window...

Edit:

the suggested combination DVB-T for me is Pinnacle 300i - its driver works in win98se. the suggested codecs are FFDShow - newest possible, and Moonlight filter - necessary for ProgDVB.

ProgDVB is the only application which worked for the said card in DVB-T mode for now. suggested verrsion is 4.85.3

IT WORKS :D
