CCheckListBox bug ?

I use a CCheckListBox in my application with:

-WM_HSCROLL and WM_VSCROLL set

-owner draw: Fixed

-single column

-single selection

-Has strings

-no integral height set

but when I add an item that is longer than the list window edge the scroll bar doesn't show up...

am I doing something wrong ? or is a bug that I don't know about ?

(i'm using VC++ 6.0 SP5)
