I want to put a 16GB SSD in my laptop and use Vista Ultimate x64. Is that enough space?

I was planning on following the guide here:

Also, if it would make a big difference, I could use Business 64 or even a 32bit version. I have a TechNet subscription, so plenty of licenses.

And of course I would like a few extra GB since this will be the only drive in the laptop.

If I could have 5GB usable after all OS updates and Office 2007 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), that would be great.

Sure, but remove big components, you can see the size on the upper-right on hover.

well I removed everything big, but after all the updates, drivers, and Office, I only have like 2GB free

think I'm just gonna go with a hard drive, always worrying about running out of space would suck

I use a 32-bit of Vista and a vLited installation with page file takes less than 5 gigs.

Unless you install a lot of programs or multiple big programs, I think you could fit the 16GB.
