Vectorferret Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 In XP I used to make user accounts that didn't have local logon privileges to allow them access to network shares. Can this be done with Vista, and if so, how do you do it? Thank you for any help.

Thank you for any help.create an account, go into your Local Security Policy (admin tools) under local policies and User Right assignment, set the account to Deny log on Locally. For added insurance add the account to the Access this Computer From the network Policy as well
