benaw
this works for notepad "Notepad saved positionIf you use multiple screens or monitors, like me, then you may have ended up with a problem where notepad ends up beyond the boundaries of your window. Further, the toolbar is hidden rendering it impossible to move it into view. You can edit the registry settings to reset this:My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\NotepadfSaveWindowPositions, iWindowPos* can be deleted. Then restart notepad and it should reset itself to your main screen. "http://www.xnote.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=
JedMeister
Ccleaner also has an option to remove all saved window positions. That probably would've done the job for you.
