reset all windows opening positions

basic problem had dual monitors and now i don't, some windows are opening up on the missing monitor.

is it possible to reset all windows positions? or does it have to be done individually, please don't say the latter coz i would be

If you use multiple screens or monitors, like me, then you may have ended up with a problem where notepad ends up beyond the boundaries of your window. Further, the toolbar is hidden rendering it impossible to move it into view.

You can edit the registry settings to reset this:

My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad

fSaveWindowPositions, iWindowPos* can be deleted. Then restart notepad and it should reset itself to your main screen. "

Ccleaner also has an option to remove all saved window positions. That probably would've done the job for you.
