pokeseeker Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I have a Windows XP Home SP1 OEM CD. I'm hoping to slipstream SP2, IE7, some hotfixes and WMP 11. What is the best order to slipstream in? SP2, WMP 11, and hotfixes/IE7? Or WMP 11, SP2, hotfixes/IE7?
johnhc Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 pokeseeker,Why are you not using SP3?I use nLite to integrate the SP and exit. Then I use WMP11 Slipstreamer to integrate WMP11 and its hotfixes. Then do all the rest in one nLite run. I save the SP integrated files (original source+SPx) in case I have to slipstream again. Then I just start from the saved files.Good luck, John
pokeseeker Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 Because I have dial-up. And thanks for the tip!
